    Another great place to bowl.

Viper again for this tournament, and I brought along a warp zone that bailed me out in pasco the last few games to make the cut.

This balls pin 1 and 1/2 inch from axis let me smooth out the back of the lane until some consistant friction came about game 5.

Not real high scoring again, but a bit easier then Lihue which was  difficult.

After getting off to a good start, stayed with the warp zone to long and struggled in the 4th and 5th game before going to the agent game 5 to shoot 279 cruising into match play at 7th qualifier.

Drew Allen Bansette in match play, and struggled to get lined up on the pair game 1 as the left lane was much tighter for a loss with 183.

Started getting lined up with 213 206 233 but the lefty was too much and after throwing a five bagger to put some pressure on him new it was not my day as he flushed a brookly in the 10th and went on to win the tournament.

Starting to feel better about my equipment and time will tell as we see the longer patterns

    What a grind.

    Spares were a premium.

Only a couple bowlers averaged 200 for the weekend.

Started qualifying with a game plan on the chameleon to keep the ball from changing direction through the pins.

Used my full roller drilling rampage  and  started with a couple good games of 240 215 and went to the lead.

As the lanes changed striking became quite difficult and I just wanted to stay out of trouble

Threw the ball straight for the final 5 games, as no strikes and just two opens meant 5 under for 3rd high qualifier.

Finals day the lanes seemed to start a little better, as the wet strip and dry strip were not quite as over under and I used the Agent and Awesome hook to blend the lane out left to right.

Lead or close to the lead most of the day, but lost the ability to hit the pcket regularly after lunch.

Had mediocre luck in match play going into the last few games leading total pins but having a losing record.

Was able to start striking again the last few games moving right, wrist weaker, and amping up the speed a bit.

Tough position round match bowling Tony Reyes, as he stoned an 8 in the 10 and I struck out going past him, Arnold, Husted, and tying Keith Odette for second.

Rolloff with the talented youngster got me to second in the stepladder where I was able to double in the frames 8 and 9 to get past Dave Arnold

Robert looked lined up in the championship match and I knew 190-200 was not enough.

Took a gamble trying hook it more and string some strikes, but got caught in transition and left 3 splits and no doubles as the game was over early.

All in all a rewarding tournament for working hard all day in the finals including 5 consecutive clean games after lunch.

Time to Enjoy Oahu for a couple days with the lovely Marleen before more bowling.

Got to try this ball tonight.

    Same layout as agent

A little earlier and smoother on the house shot, likely due to a

bit too much surface for the pattern.

Ball rolls well as it tumbles quickly off the spot but does not quit

    with the lower flare layout.

Should be excellent for medium heavy oil.

Agent has been a little too strong on the house patterns cover wise.

Went from 600 to 1000 wet dry tonight for league, which allowed me to get on top of the window and get much better angles. 244 279 300 823.

Remember kids, surface is the most important factor in ball reaction.

Not layout, not ball selection. surface surface surface.
